The new Spring/Summer 2013 campaign of Y-3 is just mind blowing. I’ll bet a lot of creatives would have loved to work on that campaign. The colors ,the movement, the intelligence that is put in there. Really amazing and classy work.
Yohji Yamamoto has been designing for this collaboration with Adidas since 2003. Y stands for Yamamoto, the 3 stands for the three stripes of Adidas. And the stripe in the middle is the collab between the two. The designer is known for his innovative way of using new fabrics. Which works well for Y-3. The brand always knows how to bring an edgy side to the basics of athletic wear.
